These colors are my dreams and nightmares
they are my tears and smiles
I welcome you to my world
where they weep and wail
where they sing and dance
watch them, listen to their silent music
leave yourself to their rhythms
wild or tame
pardon me if I am bold
in the shades I use
because they are gathered from my own experiences
of a life being lived to the fullest
not created from a vacuum
each etched in a context of its own
with its own world of desire
charred or in bloom
each painting for me is an exploration
of the realms of my creative limits
but never for a moment severed of their
umbilici to reality
